Tagliatelle with salami

This delicious and filling pasta dish is a satisfying weekday meal for all the family, and also works well as a quick and easy main course when entertaining.

What you need

225 g fresh tagliatelle
225 g fresh tagliatelle verdi
3 tsp olive oil
25 g butter
1 small onion, peeled and chopped
175 g salami, sliced
freshly ground black pepper
100 g freshly grated parmesan cheese

Method

  1. Place the tagliatelle in a large saucepan of boiling water with the olive oil. Return to boil and simmer for 3 min or until tender.

  2. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a small saucepan, add the onion, and fry for 1-2 min until softened. Add the salami and black pepper to taste. Cook for 2 min.

  3. Drain the tagliatelle well. Toss with the Parmesan cheese. Spoon into a warmed serving dish.

  4. Spoon the salami mixture in the centre. Serve immediately.
