Plum jam - microwave

This yummy breakfast jam is very easy to make.

What you need

1 1/2 kg plums, washed and stoned
150 ml boiling water
1 1/2 kg granulated sugar or granulated sugar

Method

  1. Place the prepared plums in a large bowl with the boiling water. Cover with a lid or plastic film suitable for the microwave. Cook for 10 min on 100% (FULL) power.

  2. Stir the plums, re-cover and cook for 5 min.

  3. Add the sugar and stir well. Cook, uncovered, for 25 min or until setting point is reached, stirring every 5 min.

  4. Leave to cool for 20-25 min. Then pour into warmed jars, seal and label.
