Salsa
A lovely accompaniment to grilled meats and fish or Mexican food.
What you need
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 small red chilli, de-seeded and finely chopped,
- 4 tomatoes, peeled, de-seeded and finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, peeled and crushed
- 6 tsp olive oil
- freshly squeezed juice of 1/2 lime
- seasoning to taste.
Method
Combine ingredients.
Serve.
Serving suggestion
Accompaniment to barbecues, grilled meats and fish and Mexican dishes.
Cook's tip
Add a little chopped fresh coriander for extra fragrance.
