Spicy nachos

A spicy starter or simply a tasty snack.

What you need

100 g nachos
400 g canned chopped tomatoes, very well drained
50 g Monterey Jack cheese, grated
1 chorizo sausage, sliced into rings
1 small onion, peeled and sliced
25 g mushrooms, wiped and sliced

Method

  1. Preheat a medium grill.

  2. Spread the nachos out on an ovenproof plate. Cover each chip with a layer of tomatoes and a scattering of cheese, sausage, onion rings and mushrooms.

  3. Grill until the cheese just melts. Serve immediately.
