Spicy nachos
A spicy starter or simply a tasty snack.
What you need
- 100 g nachos
- 400 g canned chopped tomatoes, very well drained
- 50 g Monterey Jack cheese, grated
- 1 chorizo sausage, sliced into rings
- 1 small onion, peeled and sliced
- 25 g mushrooms, wiped and sliced
Method
Preheat a medium grill.
Spread the nachos out on an ovenproof plate. Cover each chip with a layer of tomatoes and a scattering of cheese, sausage, onion rings and mushrooms.
Grill until the cheese just melts. Serve immediately.
Serving suggestion
Garnish with the slices of chilli, olives and capers.
