Spicy chicken tacos

Prefect for party food or a fun Saturday night meal.

What you need

6 tsp vegetable oil
375 g boneless skinless chicken breasts, diced
225 g hot taco sauce
4-5 taco shells
1 little gem lettuce, shredded
1 small red pepper, cored de-seeded and sliced
75 g cheddar cheese, grated

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.

  2. Heat the oil in a large saucepan. Add the chicken and fry for 5-10 min.

  3. Stir in the sauce and cook for 10 min.

  4. Meanwhile, heat the tacos in the oven for 2-3 min.

  5. Fill the taco shells with the chicken mixture. Top with lettuce, pepper and cheese. Serve immediately.
