Citrus herb bread
A tangy alternative to garlic bread.
What you need
- 50 g butter, softened
- 6 tsp chopped fresh mixed herbs
- 1 tsp finely grated lemon rind
- seasoning
- 1 small french bread stick
Method
Preheat oven to 200°C.
In a small bowl mix together the butter, herbs, lemon rind and seasoning.
Slice the baguette open lengthways. Sandwich together with the lemon butter.
Wrap the baguette in foil and place in oven for 8-10 min, until the bread is hot and crisp. Serve immediately.
