Dead man's fingers dip

Not really dead man's fingers but crispy cooked bacon bits in a yummy dip that's ideal for parties.

What you need

175 g rindless back bacon
400 g cream cheese
freshly squeezed juice of 1 lemon
1 bunch salad onions, trimmed and finely chopped
6 tsp yellow mustard
seasoning

Method

  1. Preheat grill to a medium heat.

  2. Place the bacon under the grill for about 5 min until crisp and cooked. Leave to cool. Cut into dice with a pair of scissors.

  3. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese with the lemon juice, salad onion, mustard and seasoning. Stir in the chopped bacon.

  4. Serve with crudites.
