Saucy bacon wrapped sausages
Stick these tasty little bites into half a melon or grapefruit when entertaining friends.
What you need
- 45 ml tomato ketchup
- 2 tsp mild mustard
- 6 tsp clear honey
- 3 tsp chopped fresh parsley
- 4 sausages
- 4 rashers rindless streaky bacon
Method
In a large, shallow, rectangular dish, mix together the tomato ketchup, mustard, honey and parsley. Thread the sausages onto bamboo skewers. Tightly wrap a rasher of bacon around each sausage.
Place the bacon-wrapped sausages in the dish and brush over the sauce mix. Cover and chill overnight.
Preheat the grill to a medium heat.
Remove the kebabs from the dish, brushing over the remaining sauce mix. Grill for 8-10 min, turning frequently or until thoroughly cooked.
Leave the sausages to cool completely before serving on the skewers.

Stick the skewers into half a melon or half a grapefruit to serve.
Cook's tip
Before using the bamboo skewers, make sure you snip off their sharp pointed ends with a pair of scissors to prevent any accidents from occurring.
