Sweet pizza base

Top with your favourite dessert topping. Each serving makes a 23cm pizza.

What you need

175 g strong white flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp easy blend dried yeast
25 g caster sugar
150 ml warm water
3 tsp sunflower oil

Method

  1. Sift the flour and salt in a bowl. Stir in the yeast and sugar.

  2. Make a well in the centre. Add the warm water and oil. Stir to form a wet dough. Then beat for 2-3 min.

  3. Turn the dough onto a well floured surface. Knead for about 5 min or until the dough becomes smooth and elastic.

  4. Place in a clean, lightly greased bowl. Cover with oiled cling film. Leave for about 45 min or until doubled in size.

  5. Turn the dough onto a floured surface. Knead again for 2-3 min. Roll out to a circle roughly 23 cm in diameter. Place on a baking sheet. Top with your chosen topping.
