Dates, apricots and cream cheese dessert

Tasty bites of fruit topped with cream cheese, nuts and seeds.

What you need

75 g fresh dates, pitted
75 g fresh apricots, halved and stoned
2-3 fresh figs, halved
For the filling and topping
100 g cream cheese
3-4 drops vanilla essence
2 tsp chopped pistachio nuts
1 tsp ground almonds, toasted
1 pitted prune, finely chopped
1/2 tsp sesame seeds
1 pinch ground cinnamon

Method

  1. Put the prepared fruits onto a serving plate.

  2. Cream the cheese and vanilla together. Top each of the fruits with a little cheese.

  3. Sprinkle the pistachio nuts on the dates. Sprinkle the almonds on the apricots. Sprinkle the prunes, sesame seeds and cinnamon on the figs

  4. Serve well chilled.
