Saucy corn

Soy sauce is mixed with butter to make a great tasting sauce.

What you need

6 sweetcorn on the cob
100 g butter, melted
3-6 tsp soy sauce

Method

  1. Cut away a few of the outer green leaves of the corn and the silky threads and discard.

  2. Mix together the butter and soy sauce. Baste the corn well.

  3. Cook over the hot barbecue turning frequently to prevent browning for 8-10 min or until tender. Brushing with any remaining butter during cooking.
