Apples Breton-style
This quick and easy dessert is guaranteed to impress your guests.
What you need
- 1 tsp butter
- 2 apples, cored and cut into 1 1/4 cm thick slice
- 3 tsp brown sugar
- freshly squeezed juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 6 tsp bourbon whisky
Method
Melt the butter in a frying pan. Lay in the apple rings.
Add the brown sugar and lemon juice. Cook for 5 min until sugar has caramelised.
Sprinkle with cinnamon. Pour in the whisky. Set alight and flamb?. Serve immediately.
