Citrus breakfast tea - microwave
Tea brewed in sweetened orange juice makes a delicious start to the day.
What you need
- 250 ml freshly squeezed orange juice
- 600 ml water
- 3 tsp caster sugar
- 2 tea bags
Method
Place orange juice, water and sugar in a large jug. Cook for 8 min on 100% FULL power. Stir half-way through.
Stir in the tea bags. Cover. Leave to stand for 4 min.
Stir the tea. Remove tea bags. Pour into drinking glasses.
Serving suggestion
Garnish with slices of orange and a sprig of fresh mint.
