Walnut cheese

This creamy cheese makes a stunning finale to any meal or is good served with crackers as a light snack.

What you need

225 g curd cheese
225 g cheddar cheese, finely grated
1 tsp creamed horseradish
freshly ground black pepper
100 g shelled walnuts, finely ground
to decorate
12 shelled walnut halves

Method

  1. Grease and line a 10 cm round mould.

  2. Mix all ingredients together thoroughly. Press into the mould. Chill.

  3. Turn out onto a serving plate. Decorate with walnut halves.
