Fanned potatoes

These crispy potatoes are roasted in the oven.

What you need

675 g potatoes, peeled and halved
25 g butter, melted
45 ml walnut oil

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C.

  2. Place potatoes, cut side down, and cut thin slices lengthways across the potato.

  3. Place on a baking sheet. Brush with the butter. Spoon the oil around the potatoes.

  4. Roast for about 1 hour, basting occasionally, until golden and crisp.
