Home made beefburgers
You can't beat home made burgers!
What you need
- 675 g minced beef (about 15% fat content)
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- seasoning
- 3 tsp oil, for brushing
Method
Combine the beef and onion in a bowl. Season to taste.
Divide the mixture into portions. With wetted hands, shape into burgers, about 6 cm (2 1/2 in) in diameter. Lightly brush with oil.
Place on a prepared barbecue. Cook for 10-12 min, turning once.
Serving suggestion
Fried onions, mayonnaise or salsa.
