Sangria
A typical Spanish drink that is served by the jugful in bars and restaurants everywhere in Spain. Serve well chilled. Great with paella.
What you need
- 1 l red wine
- 500 ml lemonade
- 175 ml brandy
- 3-4 drops angostura bitters
- juice of 1 orange
- To serve
- 1 lemon, sliced
Method
In a jug mix together the red wine, lemonade, brandy, Angostura bitters and orange juice. Add plenty of ice and chill for 1 hour before serving.
Pour into glasses. Decorate with lemon slices and serve.
Serving suggestion
Drink with paella.
