Cinnamon grilled peaches with honeyed Greek yogurt

Cinnamon and honey is a marriage made in heaven with thick and creamy Greek yogurt. Here the combination tops fresh ripe peaches with brandy and redcurrants.

What you need

4 ripe peaches, halved and stoned
15 g unsalted butter
3-6 tsp brandy
6 tsp greek honey
200 g greek yogurt
4 sprigs redcurrants
6 tsp caster sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
8 fresh mint leaves

Method

  1. Arrange peaches cut side up in a large ovenproof dish. Dot with the butter and drizzle with the brandy and honey. Grill under a medium heat for 5 min until peaches start to soften. The brandy may flame a little under the heat of the grill, but it is nothing to worry about.

  2. Top each peach with a spoonful of Greek yogurt and a stem of redcurrants. Mix cinnamon into sugar then sprinkle over.

  3. Return peaches to grill for 1-2 min more until the yogurt just sets. Cool for a few minutes. Decorate with the mint. Serve while still warm.
