Herby baked egg with ham
This light snack is good for a breakfast, brunch, starter or lunch. Serve with toast or crusty bread.
What you need
- 15 g butter
- 3 tsp double cream
- 3 tsp fresh mixed herbs, chopped
- seasoning
- 1 egg, beaten
- 25 g smoked ham, diced
Method
Preheat oven to 200°C.
Place the butter in a ramekin dish. Place in the oven and heat through for 1-2 min or until melted.
Beat the cream, herbs and seasoning together. Break the egg into the ramekin and sprinkle over the ham.
Pour over the cream mixture and cook for 4-6 min in the oven. Serve immediately.
Serving suggestion
Toast or crusty bread.
